DESCRIPTION:Arts and crafts promote development among children. Creating things with their hands helps to improve their motor skills\, allowing the body’s muscles to move around. Painting\, drawing\, writing\, and others also play a vital role in hand-eye coordination and muscle memory retention. When parents take an active role in their children’s development\, children show greater social/emotional development\, self-control\, mental health\, and school performance. You\, as the parent\, can make a positive impact on your child’s learning. \nThis event is open to families with children 0-5 who are enrolled in the IndyEast Promise Neighborhood. \nWe hope you’ll join us!

DESCRIPTION:The heating\, ventilation\, and air conditioning (HVAC) field is full of possibilities (and job opportunities)! This training covers refrigeration principles applied to servicing air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. You’ll learn scientific and mathematical principles applicable to HVAC systems during the training and study for the EPA 608 Technician Certification.
