DESCRIPTION:Cooking encourages children’s thinking\, problem-solving\, and creativity. It also allows the children the opportunity to use the knowledge they have and apply it by measuring\, cause and effect\, and counting. Parents and children cooking together teaches early math and science\, encourages families to share meals more often\, and get to know each other on a deeper level. The most important thing to remember is to have fun with your children as they have those learning experiences and learn about the joy of cooking.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an hour and rotate through activity stations with your little one (ages 0-5 years old) focused on activities based around books (literacy)\, balls (gross motor skills)\, and blocks (fine motor skills and problem-solving). \nThere will also be time during this event to learn about developmental screenings. One of our team members will walk you through the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ developmental screening) process\, help you complete your very first one\, and set you up with next steps to make sure your little one is hitting their developmental milestones. \nAll participants will take home an activity to continue the fun at home\, as well as a book. Plus\, snacks will be provided.
