Arts and crafts promote development among children. Creating things with their hands helps to improve their motor skills, allowing the body’s muscles to move around. Painting, drawing, writing, and others also play a vital role in hand-eye coordination and muscle memory retention. When parents take an active role in their children’s development, children show greater social/emotional development, self-control, mental health, and school performance.
