Youth Programs
Providing neighborhood youth safe mental, physical, social, and academic opportunities
The John Boner Neighborhood Centers strongly believes that youth who have access to exceptional educational supports and are set up to succeed in school are much more likely to see their future grow greatly. Our programs help foster that progress through a continuum of health, social, and educational supports from birth through college and career.
Young Children, Ages 0 - 5
Early childhood (ages 0-5) is a critical time for healthy youth development. Our Learn Early programs support parents, caregivers, and young children by offering services designed to increase access to high quality early childhood education and age-appropriate developmental programs, ensuring youth have the foundational skills necessary to enter kindergarten.
Children, Kindergarten - 8th Grade
We offer safe and engaging programs for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. Our Learn in School programs encourage academic enrichment, social-emotional development, positive peer and adult relationships, as well as the exploration and exposure of new skills, ideas, and activities designed to support a healthy youth development.
Youth, 9th - 12th Grade
Our youth programs include safe and engaging environments for academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, and positive peer and adult relationships. Plus, our youth employment program helps youth identify their own unique interests and strengths, while developing employability and leadership skills, and connecting them to supports to prepare them for success after graduation.
